I don't have a lot of time to write for this blog, so a big part of this is going to be that Hype Machine widget on the side there.
When I listen to a new album I'll write a review or something, but other than that I'm not going to do much in the way of writing anything.

17 Years ago today.
Seventeen years ago today, was the day the the great and mighty Kurt Donald Cobain killed himself and cut short a legacy that effected popular (and un-popular) music forever. I considered not even doing a post about Kurt, in his honor, because it was only towards the very end of his too-short career that he could even handle being noticed on the street. In the end, I decided that his influence was too great to not commemorate in some way shape or form.
I've included some links to interesting articles on Kurt's life and death for your further reading.
R.I.P. Kurt Cobain, you'll always be remembered.
here's a link to Spin.com's list of articles and stuff on Kurt,
and here's one to his Wikipedia article.

Your Music Sucks...
In light of all the horrible, mass-produced garbage that has come to be accepted as music by people who aren't smart enough to realize how awful it is, I've decided to start a music blog. I'm going to use this here blog to complain about how awful most mainstream music is, and show you some better alternatives to it.
I hope you all agree with me, because then you'll be right too.
